2. How It Works

Students play games daily to accumulate points for their class. The process emphasizes team effort over individual success, as participation by all students is the most important factor in scoring.

Each day, each class has 90 game tries available. These tries are evenly distributed across all students, ensuring that everyone’s participation counts equally.

Scoring:

  • Participation: Each student earns 1,000 points simply for participating, regardless of their game score. Every game played contributes to the class total, encouraging everyone to join in.

  • Game Success: Answering more than 5 questions correctly in a game earns additional points, rewarding effort and success. The higher the accuracy, the more points are added to the class total.

The class score is the cumulative total of all student contributions. Encouraging consistent participation from all students is key to maximizing the class’s points and improving its ranking.

💡 Pro tip: Consistent participation by all students boosts class scores.

4. Leagues

The event features five competitive divisions, ensuring that every class has a fair chance to advance based on their performance. Classes are promoted or demoted daily based on their cumulative scores.

  • Titanium: The highest division, reserved for the top-performing classes. Aiming for this division is the ultimate goal.

  • Diamond: Classes with exceptional participation and accuracy find themselves here, just below Titanium.

  • Gold: Classes demonstrating strong effort and teamwork compete in this division.

  • Silver: This division includes classes working hard to improve their rankings.

  • Bronze: The starting division, perfect for classes beginning their journey to the top.

Classes move between divisions based on their daily scores:

  • Top 25%: Advance to the next higher division.

  • Bottom 25%: Move to the next lower division.

  • Middle 50%: Remain in the same division.

Rankings are updated daily at midnight, reflecting each class’s performance from the previous day. This ensures that progress is tracked consistently, and students can see the results of their efforts.

💡 Pro tip: Encourage consistent participation to climb the divisions and aim for the Titanium level.
