Why aren't the Class Activities for free?

As we don't receive any outside funding we need to cover our costs associated with the Class Activities. We aim to keep the fee as low as we can so that as many people as possible can participate. 

The price covers the costs for the servers to host all the participants on the for the duration of the CLASS Challenge, also enabling the constant updates of the scores and rankings. The development of the platform, production and sending of the prizes also have to be covered.
