The Contest Organisation section provides teachers with all the tools and information needed to manage The Big Challenge contest. It includes an overview of participants, essential checklists, class details, contest materials, and shipment tracking, ensuring a smooth and well-organized event.

The Overview tab gives you a snapshot of your contest organisation. Here’s what you can find:
Participants by Teacher: This section breaks down the number of participants by class level (e.g., CM1, CM2, 6ème).
Contest Organisation: Key details about your contest format and organisation, including:
Your unique Big Challenge code.
The contest URL for Online participants.
Additional resources such as past papers, checklists, and shipment tracking.
Details about the contest schedule, including the exact time and date range when the contest is open.
There are two versions of the Video tutorial. One specifically for France, Germany, and Italy. and the other for all the other participating countries.
💡 Pro tip: Use this tab to quickly check your contest details and share the URL and Big Challenge code with participating students.
The Checklist tab ensures you’re fully prepared for the contest. It provides:
A comprehensive list of tasks to complete before the contest starts (e.g., distributing student logins, preparing devices).
Detailed instructions for both Classic and Online formats, ensuring that all requirements are met.
Status indicators for each task, helping you track progress at a glance.
💡 Pro tip: Check off items as you complete them to stay organised and avoid last-minute stress on contest day.
The Participating Classes tab allows you to manage your classes for the contest:
See a list of all classes listed for the contest.
Update class details or add additional classes, if needed.
💡 Pro tip: Adding participating classes is not required. It is only useful if you want to view results and statistics broken down by class once the results are published.
The Contest Material tab provides access to all the resources you need to run the contest in the online or mix format:
If you choose the Online format and your students don’t have audio headsets, you can download the audio files from this page and play them aloud in class.
If you choose the Mix format, you’ll find everything you need here. You have two options:
Option 1: Print and Upload
Download the contest papers, audio files, and answer sheets from this page.
Print the answer sheets and distribute them to your students.
Play the audio in class
Once the contest is completed, collect the answer sheets and upload them using the upload function.
Option 2: Project in Class
Instead of printing the contest papers, you can project the contest directly in class using the built-in projection tool.
The audio will play directly from the interface.
Students complete the printed answer sheets as usual.
Once finished, upload the completed answer sheets.
💡 Pro tip: Prepare all materials well in advance to ensure a smooth contest experience for students and staff.
The Shipment Tracking tab allows you to monitor the delivery of contest materials:
Track the status of your shipment in real-time.
See estimated delivery dates for materials such as prizes, certificates, and posters.
Contact support in case of delays or issues with the shipment.
💡 Pro tip: Use this tab to confirm receipt of all contest materials and report any missing or damaged items immediately.
